Things to do in Oceanside

The Oceanside Pier is the most popular attraction in the city. This famous wooden pier extends out almost a third of a mile into the ocean. It's a popular spot for recreational fisherman and those wanting a nice walk out to the end of the pier. There is a great restaurant at the end of the Oceanside Pier called Ruby's. It's very popular in the evening and you can get an economical breakfast there too. The Oceanside Harbor is a short walk north from North Coast Village and has some shops and restaurants. Downtown Oceanside is a short walk down the strand and then left at Rotary Park and up Mission Avenue. There are movie theatres, clothing shops, surf shops, and a post office.
