San Diego Hotels
California's 2nd largest city, San Diego is a wonderful place to spend your vacation. Get away from it all in a city that has everything you want in a vacation including 70 miles of beaches amid perfect warm climate and gorgeous Ocean Sunsets and breezes. Plenty of sunshine and never gets too hot. If you feel energetic, you can book tours of the city including wonderful Old Town, Balboa Park, San Diego Zoo, Gaslamp Quarter, and Coronado Island. From 5 star downtown San Diego hotels to budget accommodations on Mission Beach and Chula Vista, there are plenty of San Diego hotels at varying prices and amenities.
Outside of downtown San Diego you can choose from Chula Vista Hotels, Mission Beach Hotels, Pacific Beach Hotels, La Jolla Hotels, Ecinitas Hotels, Escondido Hotels, El Cajon Hotels, Carlsbad Hotels and Oceanside Hotels. Or you can take a good look at available Oceanside condo rentals which offer greater amenities and at much cheaper rates than you'll find at upscale hotels in San Diego or La Jolla.
Luxury Hotels in San Diego
There are luxury hotels right on the San Diego waterfront, and although they are close to the downtown core with shopping available at Horton Plaza and strolling down the boardwalk at Seaport Village, the hotels aren't really well located for the typical family vacation. Across the San Diego Harbor is Coronado, a nice spot with its own excellent and large beaches. The neighborhood in Coronado is fine for walking and shopping and is definitely one place you'll want to make a day trip to. If you're staying there, it has a very tropical atmosphere and the old Hotel Del Coronado is very popular. For a much better San Diego vacation experience you may want to check out North Coast Village rentals which offer full kitchen and resort amenities at a much better rate than San Diego Hotels. And, it's more of the beach vacation condo you're expecting and wanting.
Budget Hotels San Diego
For the budget conscious travellers, the hotels on Interstate 8 and on Interstate 5 in Chula offer accommodations at the best price you'll find. They're not far from downtown, Balboa Park and the San Diego Zoo. Chula Vista hotels are near to Imperial Beach. There are nice boutique hotels downtown and if you want to experience San Diego's beautiful downtown and the nightlife there, they are a good place to stay. Mission beach hotels are another good spot if you're seeking budget accommodation. There are numerous hotels along Mission Blvd. The Sorrento Valley near La Jolla offers nice accommodation that is in a pleasant area and not far from I5 and La Jolla. La Jolla itself has some great hotels but expect higher hotel room rates.
