Petco Park San Diego
Petco Park is the home ball park of the San Diego Padres. With a seating capacity of over 42,000, it is just small enough to make the games more intimate. Opening day and the day after opening day, you may see extra entertainment. Frequently, the military will do flyovers and send paratroopers down onto the field. The park was built in 2004 at a cost of $450 million.

At street level, there are ticket booths and a sports shop featuring Padres clothing and merchandise. You may be able to take a ride on the Coaster, San Diego County's fast train right to the Ballpark. The railway line is only a few blocks from the stadium.
